TESDA ALUMNI VOLUNTEER TO SEW FACE MASKS

Trainee-alumni in tailoring of Nueva Vizcaya Polytechnic Institute brought home sewing machines as they

volunteered in the mass production of masks amidst threat of COVID-19. The said masks will be given to public hospitals requesting fir their staff due to dearth of available supplies. The other masks will be given to frontliners like policemen and barangay tanods who are presently manning checkpoints.

TESDA Region 2 mobilized its five schools in the production of masks in order to help in the campaign to alleviate spread the virus of COVID-19. To date a total of 3,250 masks have been produced and production is still ongoing.
